• Join us to hear from representatives of participating West Michigan cities about what’s happening on the Grand River.

• Pick up free supplies and enjoy food & beverages on us.

• Meet local organizations at their information tables!

The West Michigan Air & Waste Management Association (WM-AWMA) is once again a sponsor of the Mayors' Grand River Cleanup.

Join the WM-AWMA Young Professionals to make a very real, concrete difference in protecting water quality in our community!

WM-AWMA's Young Professionals have adopted Canal Park, 941 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, for the cleanup site. Canal Park is a family-friendly site along the edge of the Grand River. Litter hotspots are around the playground and further North towards Leonard Street. The site is suitable for children 12 and younger, so plan on bringing your entire family to this annual event where we will spend 1 – 2 hours cleaning up trash.

New this year – Join the 1st Annual WMEAC Cleanup Challenge by asking your workplace, civic group, or friends and family to donate $5, $10, $20, or more per bag of trash our volunteer group picks up.
